When it comes to building a strong foundation of knowledge for using DesignXpert, nothing takes the place of our instructor-led courses. We can deliver standard training as noted below, or we can build a custom class on top of our standard class to address the specific implementation of DesignXpert at your company.

Netformx Tools for Network Design is a comprehensive, one-day course on how to get the most out of the Netformx Product Suite. The course is offered to groups of eight to fourteen students at your company's site.

  • Overview
    At this comprehensive, one-day course, you will learn how to design and document a network. As you progress through a series of modules and exercises, you'll learn how to use Netformx tools and options in a task-oriented way, with an emphasis on top-down network design methodology. This course is particularly well-suited for Network Engineers and other networking professionals who are currently using tools such as Visio 2000 to document network designs.
  • Prerequisites
    Successful completion of this course requires previous experience or training with Microsoft Windows, networking technology, basic network design strategies and principles.
  • Course Goals
    Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:
    • Identify key tools and features of the Netformx product suite and explain how to use these tools when designing and documenting a network
    • Create a conceptual design (logical layout) for a given network using Netformx
    • Create a physical design for a given network using Netformx DesignXpert
    • Complete a network design by adding IP addressing, annotations, and formatting, and generate reports in printed and HTML formats

 

Online Training

Learn at your own pace with a wide variety of on-line training courses.

Learn on your own schedule, at your own pace by using our extensive library of on-line learning tools. Learn the basics of DesignXpert using labs, video on demand, and sample projects.

 

UCS Training

Mastering the UCS Edition - Learn how to quickly and efficiently create UCS orders, use global templates, upload and complete orders, and use best practice for common server configurations (Use Cases). This Training is specifically designed to save you time and increase revenue. The training is available as self-paced e-learning videos (VoD), as well as course workbooks to accommodate your learning style. Our Learning Management System will track and support you.
