JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible for our flagship product, Netformx DesignXpert, including the definition and execution of our product strategy. You must have experience working with DesignXpert and the ability to gather and prioritizes market and customer requirements. You also need experience defining a product vision and working closely with partners, customers, engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your principal responsibilities will include:

• Turning market and customer requirements into deliverable and sellable solutions worldwide
• Directing functional architecture and long-term roadmap
• Managing product definitions, packaging, pricing and competitive analysis
• Evangelize externally the benefits of using Netformx DesignXpert
• Strengthening Netformx’s visibility into our equipment vendor ecosystem especially Cisco
   

REQUIREMENTS

You have the following experience:

• Minimum of 7 to 15 years relevant product strategy and management experience in the hardware or software industry
• Prior experience using Netformx DesignXpert in your day-to-day responsibilities
• Extensive knowledge of the global networking and telecommunications industries especially Cisco products
• Proven ability to create successful business plans for products and services

Cross-Functional Team Leadership

• Contribute market knowledge and requirements to steer roadmap and prioritization of features
• Lead a community of interest and closed loop feedback comprised of customers and partners
• Collaborate closely with product management and engineering as well as sales, sales engineering, marketing and support to realize revenues faster

Product Positioning

• Grasp and translate technical product capabilities into customer benefits
• Understand target customers and buying criteria
• Identify competitive landscape and conduct SWOT analysis
• Drive pricing decisions and deliver customer-facing documentation

Field Enablement

• Plan and execute new product and feature launches
• Assist sales and sales engineering with product and market knowledge as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Manage beta customer program for new content and major features
• Participate in events and customer interactions as necessary

Industry Knowledge

• Deep understanding of network and telecommunications designs and architectures
• First hand experience working with Cisco and their ecosystem
• Extensive knowledge of the reseller market place for technology solutions

Personal Attributes

• Proven track record in truly cross-functional, high-visibility roles requiring interaction across the entire company
• Able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as attention to details
• Exceptional presentation, business writing, and communication skills are a must

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or technology required, MBA preferred
