Senior .NET Developer

We are seeking a self-motivated and hard-working person for our Israel office.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will take a major part in developing the next generation of Netformx Discovery. You will have the opportunity to design and implement a brand new product that captures the topology of a network and obtains the configuration of its devices using the newest set of technologies. The position requires research capabilities and the skill to achieve clarity where there is vagueness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The principle responsibilities will be:
- Participate in defining the product with other stakeholders and take part in design and implementation of the next generation of Netformx Discovery. Sustainable design and quality code are key to building a product that will benefit Netformx for the next decade.
- Maintaining and improving the current product and extract insights that will contribute to the new product.
- Be the final level of support to customers having problems with the current product.
REQUIREMENTS:
Mandatory:
- Minimum of 5 years' C# and .Net development experience with inquisitive mind into the internals of .Net framework.
- Proven design experience of a product or core features that were translated to delivery
- Excellent debugging skills
Advantage:
- Experience in C++ programming in Windows environment
- Win32 API
- Familiarity with network applications (e.g. network management systems, routing and switching, SNMP, sockets etc.)
- Understanding of network architectures: routers, routing tables, routing protocols, switching, forwarding tables, VoIP, firewalls
- Knowledge of networking protocols (SNMP, TCP, UDP, HTTP, Telnet, FTP, SOAP)
- Veteran of companies specializing in networking
