Netformx Alliance Program Levels

Netformx provides three program levels for network equipment and merchandize manufacturers to add their products into the Netformx KnowledgeBase.

Catalog Level partners can have their company catalog added to the Netformx KnowledgeBase.  Partner products will appear in the appropriate vendor folder, categorized by partner criteria, thus extending market reach to thousands of new qualified buyers.  Catalog Level integrates your price list in a catalog format, grouping individual items by products families.  To select your products, a design engineer using a Netformx design solution will simply open your company folder, then the specific family folder, click on the part number required, and drag its graphic representation into the design.  Product name, part number, description and pricing will be generated automatically on the bill of materials and quoted precisely.  As changes are made to the same project, the bill of materials and quote pricing will adjust automatically to reflect the design changes.

Expert Level partners can add rules to specified products to enable configuration and orderability validation.  This will insure that all sub-components are ordered with the main product, increasing order accuracy and reducing returns.  In the Expert Level, rules may be added to the product selection process, to establish hierarchical relationships (i.e., main product with associated sub-parts) and provide selection options for up-selling (i.e., suggest optional add-ons or offer a higher grade product at a different price for the same application).  The rules may be attached to some or all of your products.

Advisor Level partners who want more targeted product selection capabilities can add intuitive Guided Selling questions and automated responses. In the Advisor Level, the rules that govern the product selection process are formatted in the Netformx Advisor Guided Selling platform, which is an intuitive question and answer mode that optimizes product selection based on user requirements. These questions help guide users and optimize product selection based on straightforward statements of customer requirements, enabling less-technical personnel to accurately quote your products.  This will ensure order accuracy and reduce returns for more complex products.  The rules may be attached to some or all of the products in the catalog.  This capability broadens the spectrum of potential product data uses, for example help desk and customer self-service portals.
