Why did this deal happen?

This collaboration offers Netformx better growth potential and the opportunity to expand some of our key capabilities with a focus on security vulnerability detection for solutions such as Netformx Discovery and to consider incorporating risk management as a component of customer success in SuccessXpert. It also expands our research and development resources and connects us with other best-of-breed solutions. See the press release for more details.

Who is Orchestra Group?

Orchestra Group is a privately held cyber security risk management company founded in 2018. Orchestra plans to leverage the Netformx domain networking expertise and technology to extend their offering and accelerate their go to market. Orchestra’s vision is to develop and acquire various technologies for the purpose of assembling a single information security policy to operationally link compliance, risk, and security throughout an organization. Orchestra has acquired and developed security technologies for Internet of Things (IoT) and for servers and PCs. By teaming with Netformx they will now be able to add network discovery for security insights to deliver full coverage leveraging Orchestra’s Harmony information security platform. Orchestra Group’s mission is to address the major roadblocks hindering integrated, proactive cyber security in the digital world.

What does this acquisition mean for current customers?

We will continue enhancing our current offerings for Cisco Partners and be there to support you as a second set of helping hands as we always have. Pricing and support for our customers will continue to be the same. Orchestra aims to leverage our years of industry experience and our top-notch teams globally that includes executives, research and development, sales, customer success, marketing, finance, human resources, and more.

Are any Netformx applications going away?

There are no plans to eliminate any Netformx applications and the Orchestra Group is committed to the Netformx roadmap.

What changes can we expect and when?

We plan to continue enhancing our current offerings for Cisco Partners. Being part of the Orchestra Group means there will be more resources (financial and human) to make our offerings even more powerful.

Is Orchestra Group competitive with Cisco Security solutions?

The short answer is no. Orchestra Group’s current offerings are complementary to current Cisco security solutions.

• Orchestra Harmony IoT supports the wireless domain focusing exclusively on cyber visibility and protection. Any organization that uses WiFi will benefit from the Harmony IoT wireless security dome which complements and makes Cisco (Meraki) implementations more secure. Harmony IoT does not provide any type of wireless connectivity.
• Orchestra Harmony Purple concentrates on analyzing existing vulnerabilities using attack path scenarios (APS). Due to Harmony Purple’s APS approach to vulnerability prioritization, it is complementary to current Cisco Security solutions.
