Hello Cisco Partners,

If you missed it, last month my post, Demystifying VIP39 and Shipping VIP37 & VIP38, discussed the significant changes in VIP39. This time let’s talk about the upcoming Cisco VIP39 deadlines and meeting your minimum booking targets.

July 30th booking deadline

Don’t forget to meet your booking minimums by July 30th to gain the rebates at the end of the VIP39 period, which runs from January 30th to July 30th.

  • Have you purchased the minimum booking targets per technology subtrack?
  • Do your current orders have enough VIP-applicable SKUs to close the gap to target?
  • Do you have enough pipeline to convert into VIP-applicable sales?

Other important VIP39 dates to keep in mind are:

  • Shipment cut-off date: October 29, 2022
  • Approximate date to receive first payment: October 2022
  • Approximate date to receive second payment: December 2022

Using ChannelXpert to stay on top of your bookings and minimize risk

Netformx ChannelXpert™ uses data that are refreshed daily to monitor your subtrack minimum booking targets and alert you to potential shortfalls.

On a daily basis, ChannelXpert creates rebate forecasts that project any booking target shortfalls. Since it is unlikely you will achieve all the bookings in time, ChannelXpert helps you manage your risk by calculating the potential risk to your rebate if you don’t hit a target. This allows you to make informed decisions on where to invest your resources.

With ChannelXpert you can also pull data to review your current bookings, subtrack sale penetration by end customer, estimated rebate risks for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 orders, and much more.

If you have been using ChannelXpert for multiple VIP periods, you can review sales from prior VIPs to unlock your potential pipeline. You can also identify opportunities by identifying gaps in your client sales by reviewing your subtrack sale penetration by end customer.

Need a bit of support? You can contact your Netformx account manager or sales@netformx.com to organize sessions to review your predicted rebates to date or, near the end of the VIP period, to get caught up before the July 30th VIP39 minimum bookings close.
