Delivering a Report for Technical and Conversational Assessments
AssetXpert provides the capability to download a full Technical Assessment report and guide you through a customer conversation.
In the end you will be able to deliver a comprehensive assessment report to your customer and recommendations for maintaining their current network, replacing equipment that is EoX, identify upgrades to the network to align with growth, and provide post upgrade network maintenance best practices.
If you are participating in the Cisco 'Customer Assessment Incentive' program, earning the $7500 payout is much easier with this report.
The Summary within this report could also act as your Proof of Performance (PoP) that you conducted the assessment requirements both technical and conversational.
Steps to Generate the Word Report
The AssetXpert (AX) report generation is a two-part process that creates:
- A consolidated spreadsheet containing multiple table views from inventory
- A Word report that provides explanations for the spreadsheet contents
Here are the 4 easy steps to generate the report
- View Selection
- Navigate to the "System Predefined Views" list
- Select desired views (e.g., "inventory view")

- Spreadsheet Generation
- Click the "generate (cycle)" button in the "Export Report" section to add each selected view
- Each view becomes a new tab in the consolidated spreadsheet
- You can download the spreadsheet at any time using the download button next to "Export Report"
- Add as many views as needed by repeating this process

- Map Image Selection
- In the Dashboard tab, press the “save” button (looks like a disc) to add a topology map and segment map to the word report.
- Word Report Creation
- After adding all desired views to the spreadsheet
- Press the "cycle" key next to "Export Word Report"
- Once generated, download the Word report using the download button
