We continue to add new features to enhance your user experience with the Partner Incentive (PIT) and Margin Analysis (MAT) Tools. Recently we have added:

  • PIT Features:
    • A revised Distribution purchase method to better define the name and associated cost structures.
    • An expanded base cost discount structure to account for differences outside the US
    • The AM can now define and save customer-specific DSA cost structures
    • The PM view now adds the VIP Calculator fields to the main view and export report
  • MAT Features:
    • Users now receive notification if they have exceeded the minimum mark-up and margin settings that are defined in the User Management System.
    • Ensure more accurate margin and discount calculations with the ability to adjust the price modifier behaviors
  • Content:
    • The K-12 pricing rules have been adjusted to align with Cisco’s updated strategy
    • OIP & TIP accuracy improvements with better granularity for the stack shown for the Estimated List Price
      • New OIP slice definitions required for Estimates that meet a $5k List Price floor, along with other conditions
      • Suppression of OIP slice for Estimates that do not meet the $10k List Price floor
      • Suppression of the TIP slice for Estimates that do not meet the $50K List Price Floor
    • MIP cost discount has been expanded and improved to include the SKU kicker bonus paid to MIP from products on the Cisco MIP SKU PID list
  • User Management System:
    • It is now easier to define the distributor name and associated cost structure
    • Administrators can now set the minimum markup and margin settings for users of MAT, which will result in a notification if the user exceeds the minimum setting.
